Gemstones are some of the most beautiful minerals that mother earth has gifted to the universe.  Elegant in appearance and radiant in color, they have been associated with mystical healing as far as 4 BC.

These beautiful minerals are natural formed and gain their appearance due to changes they undergo from the sun, rain, heat, cold, and wind pressure.

For centuries, astrologers have associated gemstones to the influences of the planets, the sun and the moon. Cosmic influences are thought to transpire through heavenly bodies via the colors of gemstones.

Incorporating crystals, gems and precious stones is also thought to improve one’s yoga practice. Gemstones are associated with bringing new intentions, energies and powers into one’s life when used in yogic practices.

Here, we will discuss three gemstones and the powers associated with them.

1.              Quartz

Quartz is the second most abundant mineral on earth, after feldspar. This stone is thought to be able to boost one’s clarity and power.  Traditionally, the transparent, colorless rock is referred to as quartz. It is a thought to be adaptable and versatile. Thought to be able to unlock spiritual growth and psychic abilities, it’s a very powerful healing stone. Its healing powers are thought to be able to release both physical and emotional pain.

2.              Amethyst

Amethyst is a popular form of quartz formed when there is an abundance of iron in the area of its formation. Purple in color, this stone is thought to be able to boost peace and stability. It is a popular form of quartz formed when there is an abundance of iron in the area of its formation.

Also thought as a healing stone, it is ideal for meditation and can help create balance, peace and patience. Increasing inner strength, emotional stability and flexibility are also additional benefits that are thought to transpire from the powers of Amethyst.

3.              Moonstone

Moonstone is feldspar that has pearly and opalescent schiller. The Greeks and the Romans associated moonstones with their lunar deities. It is thought to be able to boost intuition. It is also thought to increase wisdom and sensitivity, with the ability to bring abundance into one’s life.

It’s a stone that comes in various shades and varieties. Other powers associated with the stone are: protection during challenging times and relieving tension caused through emotional stress.

Choosing the perfect gemstone for your loved one is an extremely important decision. We are here to make your search easy by providing the rarest, natural and custom gemstones from trusted gem mines all over Sri Lanka.

Gemstones are rare and valuable

Our gemstones are truly one-of-a-kind. For example, untreated blue sapphires make up less than 1% of what is available on the market! Natural gemstones have significantly more value over commercially treated stones.

While there are other websites with wonderful pictures, it is truly difficult to see the true value of a gemstone by looking at a picture. That’s why we are not big into putting up a whole lot of images. Our main purpose of putting up images is to show our customers that we have new inventory. We understand that you need to see the REAL THING, not an image of it before you purchase it.

Gemstone cutting is important

When you purchase something as rare and valuable as a gemstone, it’s important that it is cut by a quality craftsman. Our gemstones are cut by one of the leading gem cutters in Sri Lanka that takes pride in providing perfectly cut gemstones in all shapes and sizes. We are dedicated to providing single stones for individuals and collectors as well as fulfilling calibrated orders for jewelers.

Whether you are looking to find gemstone for a custom jewelry piece or you need a custom jewelry solution, you have come to the right place. We are happy to work with you on customizing our services so you can show that special someone how much you care.
